Experience Black art all Black History Month and beyond through Crépu: Our DNA: Extended!

We are excited to announce  an extension Crépu: Our DNA’s visual art programming, featuring unseen artworks in 3 different galleries + a film screening. A selection of these pieces will be on display alongside other exhibited artworks, so be sure to also enjoy all of the art on display at each location!

We have partnered with 3 galleries and 1 micro theatre to present a visual art series featuring artworks by Ottawa’s (and beyond) finest creative talents! Starting February 11th until May 10th, discover artworks made by 11 Black artists across different disciplines and mediums, all covering different aspects of their lived experiences through artistic expression.

This series is curated by Sandra Ngenge Dusabe, founder of The Moving Art Gallery.

This series of exhibits is powered by the Canada Council of the Arts, and made possible through the partnership of The Carleton University Art Gallery, SPAO: Photographic Art Centre, SAW Gallery, and the Digital Arts Resource Centre.
