The Moving Art Gallery presents Behind The Fit; a Workshop & Closet Purge fundraiser aimed to serve the community in Ottawa.

Behind the Fit is an idea that was spawned from the question: what does it mean to dress?

Join us for an intimate Style Workshop & Closet Purge experience, where we tackle this question through discussion and practice by using what you have in your own closets!

Facilitated by 4 workshop leaders, and hosted by curator Sandra, we invite all who are looking to expand and learn how to build an outfit, based on your own personal style. This event is aimed to fundraise for The Moving Art Gallery's future operations; as a non-profit and un-incorporated organization, all of the proceeds will be used to serve the creative collective in Ottawa through our events.

Guests are encouraged to bring their unused or *second-hand clothing to be recirculated directly into each others hands, either by exchange or by purchase. With the impact of the worsening economic climate for low-income or marginalized groups, this is an answer to the need for fair trade by making the artistic expression of wearing clothes accessible for everyone.

So come and join us, and bring a friend, for an evening of great conversation, unmatched style and immaculate vibes~

*Please note that clothes that are damaged or unsanitary are not eligible to exchange or sell.

Tickets act as a donation for the organization, with the suggested amount being 15$.
